Artist's Comments

Here is the cover of Issue #1 of Disney/SLG's new comic book based on Disney's TV series "Gargoyles." This image has been released on SLG's website and on several blogs, so I think it's safe for me to post it here.

The comic should be on the shelves soon...

Art by Greg Guler (lead character designer on the show), colors by me.

Is there a collaboration section on DA? I've colored a lot of other people's stuff and I'm not sure what category to put it in..

Dear me, I hope some comics shops in France will import it. Otherwise, i'm gonna buy it online and made it travel oversea, no matter the price.

no, there's no collaboration section on DA, but you can post your collaboration as long as you have your art partner's permission and you mention him/her.

The coloring job is superb. Nice job, you captured them quite well.

Man, I remember Gargoyles when it premiered back in '94. One of my favorite action cartoons aside of Batman: The Animated Series. Will this be a graphic novel or a series of issues?

Aaah, your light and shadow is wonderful! A really clean crisp and proffesional piece of work! Your color work is so gorgeous. :heart: I would really love to see the way you go about working all those shades seamlessly together.
