Artist's Comments

This is a very special piece for me. I recently attended Wendy Froud's dollmaking workshop in Eugene, Oregon before Faerieworlds this year. We spent three days in the class learning how to make dolls. I met some new friends and everyone was great. It was an amazing experience and I HIGHLY recommend it!!

Morlan is made from sculpey, leather, acrylic paint, glue, wire, and masking tape. And some other things, too :) He is fully pose-able.

Wendy Froud also has DVDs available, and a book (which I designed!)

I love his happy face! He's adorable in a scraggly way.

That's stunning! The design, details you was able to put into this piece and the textures on top of that. It's amazing!

 This reminds me of those puppet classics like Labyrinth and Dark Crystal - really stunning work! <333 It's hard to choose, but I think my favorite part is just how much character he's got.
