Today I finished a piece called "Shaman's Crest." Yay

I wanted to let you guys know that I'll have a booth at FaerieCon West in Seattle next month. I'll be hanging with BROM, Amy Brown, Daniel Merriam, Charles de Lint, and a horde of other famous creative people. You can hang with them too, if you come to the show.

Also: masquerade balls. Hooray!! Abney Park, Delhi 2 Dublin, and more epic bands. Any excuse to wear a costume and hang out with artists and writers at the hotel bar all day sounds like a great time, no?

I finally finished my Owl Talisman piece last night. I've had the sketch in my book for months...I love getting things done.

Haven't been here in a while! I figured I would poke my head in here and see what's goin' on.

I'm back from FaerieCon. I started working part-time again to make ends meet, but I have lots of new paintings in my head for this fall/winter. I hope everyone is doing well and keeping warm..

Only a couple more weeks until the big show: FaerieCon in Philadelphia. So many guests will be coming, and over 100 vendors...some of the guests include ALAN LEE (Lord of the Rings artist, the book Faeries) BRIAN & WENDY FROUD, TOBY FROUD, HOLLY BLACK of The Spiderwick Chronicles, WENDY PINI of Elfquest, JESSICA GALBRETH, LINDA RAVENSCROFT, KINUKO CRAFT, CHARLES VESS, MICHAEL HAGUE, ARI BERK, HELENA NELSON-REED, JOHN & CAITLÍN MATTHEWS, JEN DELYTH, MICHAEL BUCKLEY of The Sisters Grimm, J. CORSENTINO, RUTH SANDERSON, JASMINE BECKETT-GRIFFITH....OMG the list goes on...

I'm workin' my tail off getting all of the posters, program books, advertisements, banners, etc...done for this show. It's going to be amazing. Personally I can't WAIT for the Masquerade Balls (this is my favorite part) so I can finally see OMNIA live in concert and once again see QNTAL, WOODLAND, and PRISCILLA HERNANDEZ wooooooo.....

Forgive my lack of updates but this has been consuming my time for quite a while. But it's a good thing!

I hope to see a lot of you guys at FaerieCon...I'll be at the Froud/Imaginosis booth (up front.)

I'm getting closer to finishing my new fancy website. This one will have all of my latest work on it, including all of my fancy design work that I do for a living (when I'm not drawing crows and dudes with horns).

Someday I should try to get PAID to draw crows and dudes with horns. In fact, I think I will publish a book called CROWS: They Chill w/ Dudes w/ Horns. lol.

It's been over a year since I updated my Deviant Art page...I think I forgot about it for a while as I spent my time reorganizing my life.

Long story short: I'm finally making art again (after almost a year of no art-making due to several personal and career-related factors).
